Liberals routinely DO pit one group against another (particularly racially & financially) but it's only possible becuase liberals basically do not believe in private property. If they did, they wouldn't use Robin Hood tactics to buy the votes of the poor and illegal.  Currently this is the goal with the the politely termed "immigration reform" they are kicking around now.  If the border crossers were found to be conservative leaning republicans in waiting, the democrats would never, EVER consider granting amnesty to them.  As usual, this is a ploy by a certain mindset to give something undeserved in exchange for something needed to stay in power. 

Liberals probably DO believe in their OWN rights to their own private property, but don't mind if the house, land or money of others is taken from them. They probably think one fountain for them is fine, while requiring others to drink from a different water fountain (those making $250K in this case) is the height of morality. Am I wrong?
